A [surprisingly incidental] Message


The project examines the linguistic similarities between manifestos and online news services.
Using excerpts from Germany’s most widely read news outlets, manifestos are generated by striking out only a few words or sentences, showing how little it takes to transform news into manifesto-like rhetoric.
Through this interactive comparison, the persuasive proximity between the two forms becomes visible, inviting playful yet critical engagement from the reader.
